Time to Think about Membership Renewal

Once again the seasons turn, and it will soon be time to renew your Landis Arboretum membership.

The membership year runs from May 1 to April 30 of each year; renewals (or new memberships) received from the beginning of our membership drive in October will receive the remainder of the existing membership year plus the entire next membership year – in other words, join or renew now and be current through April 30, 2016. You may access a membership form on our website at www.landisarboretum.org, or you may join or renew on the site using PayPal (small administrative fee). You may also use your credit card by calling the Arboretum at (518) 8756935.

There are many benefits to being a member, including a 10% discount on plants at our spring and fall plant, book, and bake sales, and, at the Family level or higher, discounts on a class or event. In addition, thanks to Native Plant Trail Curator Ed Miller and ECOS: The Environmental Clearing House, we are offering PDF versions of Ed’s two booklets, Trees and Shrubs of the Capital Region of New York: A Guide to Species Identification, and Ferns of the Capital Region of New York: A Guide to Species Identification. But perhaps the best benefit is that your membership donation helps maintain the Arboretum for you and your family, and for generations to come.
